Cannot rate this place enough! Penny was a fabulous host and makes a mean breakfast! She very kindly picked us up from the station and drove us to our accommodation. The stone hut is absolutely beautiful and in a secluded spot with only a few sheep in the field. Did not hear a peep from them our entire stay. There is a collection of board games and this kept us busy as the weather wasn't great when we visited. It gets lovely and warm in the hut thanks to the wood burner, enough to strip down out of wooly clothes and relax. This really is a hidden gem and cannot wait to go back. In love with everything about the place and will be telling everyone about it! Thanks again Penny and family

Perfect in every way. The hospitality and tranquility and detail in the shepherds huts is perfect and the food is incredible. Thank you Penny and Tudor it's always a pleasure to be here

What can I say!Booked a one night stay in October for a bit of Father and Son time with my 5 year old and we were delighted with our choice. Penny and her family are incredibly lovely people, who welcomed us as if we've known her for years, superb hosts. The website and description can't possible prepare you for the value for money you receive, the quirky accommodation and grounds are set out in such a brilliant way for you to roam and explore. The Huts are expertly made, warm, homely and comfortable, the surrounding land and access to the barn lounge and dining are a great addition to this accommodation, such charm and character that I've not seen elsewhere. The extra touches really make a difference, whether it's the bread, milk, tea/coffee, yoghurts, slices of fresh cake and home made jams in the barn, or the roaring log fire, binoculars and games left out for you to enjoy, Penny has thought of it all and nothing is too much trouble.Great location for Abergele, Conway, Llandudno and Rhyl, plenty of local places to eat, although you'll do well to compare to Penny's breakfast delivered to you at the barn in the morning! My son really enjoyed his stay, and is even asking to go back already, well done Penny you've mastered true 'Quirky Glamping'We'll be seeing you again soon!

What a wonderful place to stay. 5 minutes above Abergele and you are in beautiful countryside. The huts were perfect for us (2 couples meeting up with other family nearby). The weather was perfect but even if it had been damp, there is a handy games room. The huts were very comfortable, cosy and private, with truly beautiful views and lovely walking in woodland behind the huts. We will definitely hire them again. We do really recommend this as a great location if you want to be away from the bustle of the coast but still want easy access to the area. Penny and her family are wonderful hosts: so kind and considerate, ensuring our stay was terrific from the start, with a lovely fruit bowl and welsh cakes etc waiting for us on arrival, then a fantastic cooked breakfast brought over to us each morning. Penny made sure we had everything we needed and It really was a perfect stay. Thank you, Penny, for such a lovely location and gorgeous stay. We hope to be back again soon.

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely welcoming family, amazing accommodation, stunning views, great location. Arrived to a fridge full of yoghurts, milk, butter, a loaf of bread, a full fruit bowl and a plate full of freshly made tasty welsh cakes. Included was a lovely cooked breakfast brought over at a time you request with local produce and freshly squeezed orange juice. Loads of wildlife, wild flowers and most important to the landlady an abundance of different bees.Loads of fire wood and charcoal for bbq and wood burners. While we stayed there we were lucky to have fantastic weather so sat outside most nights, however adjacent to the kitchen/living room is an open sided barn with a sofa, blankets and games to keep you entertained should you need to stay dry.One of the best stays we've ever had. Absolutely value for money!
