We stayed at Nazemarine,the staff were lovely but the caravan was awful,we complained to the management as did many others,a queue every time we went to the site office,the caravan was really dirty and the mattress was clapped out and falling to bits,we were given a topper,and used 2 duvets from the 2 single beds to pad it out,as it was just the 2 of us we stuck the week out ,but won't be going back.

Camping not fit for families.... horendus!! I booked this holiday for my family and four other families. We paid 50 a night we were excited when we arrived as we drove through a nice reception area past a park and then through the site to the camping area. Well my heart sank. Our families go camping about 4 times a year and have stayed on a varity of sites however nothing could prepare us for the horriffic standards of the facilities expected for families to use. We arrived a week last Saturday and the porta cabin toilets where horrible there wasn't enough working toilets - to service 150 pitches there were only six working ladies and three urinals that weren't over flowing. This site makes toilet rolls and soap a luxury item, as there were NONE in any of the blocks. Sunday morning I went and complained to the customer services manager. I was told there would be soap and toliet roll added. Later that day when we came back on site there was NONE, I went to see the Accomodation Manager with a friend and logged a complaint formerly, I was informed someone would call me that day, NO phone call. I was informed that these get stolen but they didn't replace the large roles in the depense due to delivery issues which had been the case for TWO weeks. This will happen as families think they will run out during the night ...the large rolls that can't be taken out but these were NEVER replaced. The toliet blocks are horrible and not fit for purpose, they are all filled with sludge and sewage on the floor, not kept clean, I was informed there should be two cleaners on duty I only ever saw one after complaining. The showers were caravan type showers but we're dirty and didn't work either scolding hot or cold. I never seen a queue men's toilets but it was an often sight here due to blocked urinals. There is only three sinks to wash up in and this area is not clean you need wellies to enter the pop wash porta cabin. I logged the complaint on the Monday with headoffice. My main issue is that their is no where near enough facilities for the number of people and they are filthy due to the high traffic but also no cleaners in site for at least the first 24 hours we arrived and not maintained between 7pm - 7am. We have been to family festivals with cleaner and better facilities than what is provided at Park Dean. I hated my stay at Park Dean resort, and so did my two small girls who cried when they had to used the filthly toliets. Donna who handled our complaint stated we could use the Touring toliet block which we did drive to it (as its about 20 minute walk away) however one block the showers didn't work and the other after 15 minutes the lights went out, leaving me and my 6 year old daughter in the dark. She screamed and it has made her scared now of camping. Between that and the slow/dribbling showers at the swimming pool - don't camp at Park Dean resorts and expect a shower. In fact the best advice I can give another family is to stay clear of Park Dean - there is some lovely sites near by without a swimming pool but there is local swimming baths you can use instead. We did get 50% refund but for 25 a night we still feel robbed. I feel that Park Dean ruinned our group holiday with shocking facilities and poor customer service.
